| 明治39年(1906) | 諸輪村と春木村が合併し、東郷村となる 初代村長 近藤新一郎氏 Morowa Village combined with Haruki Village and it became Togo Village. Mr. Shinichiro Kondo was the first mayor of Togo Village. |

| 昭和 4年(1946) | 名古屋ゴルフ倶楽部和合コース誕生 Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course established. |
| 昭和21年(1956) | 東郷村商工会設立 Togo Village Commerce and Industry Society established. |
| 昭和24年(1949) | 県立旭丘高等学校東郷分校開校 Prefectural Asahigaoka high school Togo Branch School founded. |
| 昭和30年(1955) | 愛知用水公団発足 Aichi waterworks corporation created. |
| 昭和34年(1959) | 愛知池着工 Construct ion of Aichi Pond begins. |
| 昭和36年(1961) | 愛知池完成 愛知用水通水 Aichi Pond was completed. Aichi Water approved as drinking water. |
| 昭和37年(1962) | 名古屋大学農学部付属農場開設 Farm established by Nagoya University Department of Agriculture. |
| 昭和44年(1969) | 人口が1万人に到達 The population of Togo Town exceeded 10,000 people. |
| 昭和45年(1970) | 町制施行 初代町長 石川正巳氏 Town Organization was enforced. Mr. Masami Ishikawa was the first mayor of Togo Town. |
| 昭和46年(1971) | 尾三消防組合設立 Bisan Fire Fighting Union established. |
| 昭和49年(1974) | 尾三衛生組合設立 町の木を「モッコク」、町の花を「アヤメ」に制定 Bisan Hygiene Union established. “Ternstroemia” is designated as town tree, and the Iris is the town flower. |
| 昭和50年(1975) | 愛知中部水道企業団設立 日東衛生組合設立 黒笹七号古窯跡が愛知県の指定史跡となる Aichi Chubu Water Supply Authority established. Nitto Hygiene Union established. Kurozasa Nana-go-gama Kiln designated as of historic importance by Aichi prefecture. |
| 昭和51年(1976) | 東郷音頭、東郷小唄が作られる Togo Ondo (traditional Bon Dance song) and Togo Kouta (Ditty) are composed. |
| 昭和52年(1977) | 郷土資料館、老人憩いの館開館 Togo Local Historical Museum and institution for elderly opened. |
| 昭和55年(1980) | 国勢調査で人口増加率県下トップ According to the national census, the population increase ratio was the biggest in Aichi prefecture. |
| 昭和57年(1982) | 東郷町民会館開館 Togo Town Hall opened. |
| 昭和60年(1985) | 町民憲章制定 Togo Townsman Charter was enacted. |
| 昭和61年(1986) | 愛知池運動公園開園 北部児童館開館 Aichi reservoir sports park established. Hokubu (North) Childcare Center founded. |
| 平成 2年(1990) | 東郷町総合体育館開館 Togo Town General Athletic Gym opened. |
| 平成 3年(1991) | 住民窓口センター開所 The branch office of the public office established. |
| 平成 7年(1995) | 第1回町民レガッタ開催 The first “Togo Town Citizens Regatta” is held. |
| 平成 8年(1996) | 「涼松せせらぎの道」開園 The new park “Suzumimatsu Seseragi esplanade” opened. |
| 平成10年(1998) | 尾三消防本部東郷分署開所 Bisan Fire department, Togo Fire Station opened. |
| 平成12年(2000) | 巡回バス運行開始 第1回全国ふれあいレガッタ （グリーンチャンピオンシップスレガッタ）開催 The operation of Togo Loop Bus “Junkai-Kun” started. The first time “Nationwide Fureai Regatta” (Green Championships Regatta) is held. |
| 平成14年(2002) | 役場庁舎が国際規格ISO14001認証取得 Togo Public Office buildings acquired International Standard ISO14001. |
| 平成16年(2004) | イーストプラザいこまい館開館 East Plaza IKOMAI Hall established. |
| 平成17年(2005) | 愛・地球博 公設民営保育園（西部保育園）開園 EXPO2005 AICHI JAPAN (Love and earth) Public Nursery School (Seibu Nursery School) founded. |
| 平成18年(2006) | 人口4万人突破 The population of Togo town exceeds 40,000. |
